AQUARELA DO BRASIL, PORTUGUESE CLASS
With the support of the Universidade Catolica de Brasilia in Boston, Aquarela do Brasil offers Portuguese classes and Brazilian Culture Heritage for children's 5 to 12 years. Classes are held on Saturday from 10-12pm.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

We believe that all children are creative and should have the opportunity to develop these gifts. Our children's choir seeks to inspire a love of music not only with their voices but using many music instruments such as rattles, drums, flutes and guitar to interpret popular and harmonious songs of the Brazilian roots and traditions.

CORAL INFANTIL CANTOS DO BRASIL
Acreditamos que todas as crianças são criativas e devem ter a oportunidade de desenvolver esses dons. O coral procura inspirar o amor pela música não apenas com suas vozes, mas também usando muitos instrumentos musicais como chocalhos, tambores, flautas e violão para interpretar canções populares e harmoniosas das raízes e tradições brasileiras.

We have partnership with the Consulate of Brazil in Boston and we can help the Brazilian Citizens to obtain the following documents: Birth certificate, marriage/ death/life certificate, residence certificate, voter registration, social security number, etc. All consular service is free. Center's office hours are Monday 4-9pm, Wednesday 4-8pm and Friday from 4 to 9PM.

Todo atendimento consular é gratuito. Horário de atendimento do Centro é de segunda, das 4-9pm, quarta 4-8pm e sexta das 4 as 9 da noite.

ENGLISH AS SECOND LANGUAGE CLASSES FOR ADULTS

The English as a Second Language Program is designed for individuals seeking to communicate more effectively and improve their performance in professional, academic, and social environments. We offer evening classes for non-native speakers at all levels of language proficiency. Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9pm.

​This booklet was elaborated with the purpose of informing, clarifying and guiding the Portuguese-speaking population about how we can help you dealing with situations of discouragement, anxiety, lack of energy and even doubts about the sense of being alive. The preparation of this Primer was an initiative of the Solidarity Group, the New England Community Center, the Brazilian Consulate in Boston and had the fundamental contribution and review of Dr Leonardo Batista, Physician Psychiatrist, Professor of Psychiatry Brown University and Director of the Mental Health Program for Latinos and Rhode Island Hospital. The Brazilian Consulate General in Boston, with the Health and Welfare, supports the relevant efforts of the Solidarity / NECC Group and expects that Cartilha can be an important resource in the search for health.
